| Bio: | Character's name: Sakura Kinomoto Character's age: 11 Character's gender: Female Series the character is from: Card Captor Sakura Point in canon they're being taken from: Volume 7 Brief background: Sakura Kinomoto was born on April 1st in Tomoeda, Japan and is, at the moment, 10 years old. She attends Tomoeda Elementary with her best friend Tomoyo Daidouji and her favorite subjects are physical education and music while the class she dislikes the most is math. Sakura lives with only her brother, Touya Kinomoto, and her father, Fujitaka Kinomoto. Her mother died when Sakura was three. She also has a crush on her brother's best friend Yukito Tsukishiro. As to how she became a Cardcaptor, Sakura found a book in her father's study and upon touching it, she accidentally awakens Cerberus (Kero) who was supposed to have been guarding the Clow Cards. Recognizing her magical potential, Kero tricked her into becoming a Cardcaptor so she can collect back all the cards that have been let loose. With a somewhat shaky start, Sakura began collecting the Clow Cards with help from Kero and Tomoyo. Then Syaoran Li transferred from Hong Kong and began competing with her for the collection of the Clow Cards. Not only were they competing for Clow Cards, but they also competed for Yukito's heart. Over time, however, through many trials, they slowly became friends instead of rivals and started helping each other out. However, Sakura still believes her number one is Yukito. Personality: Sakura is very optimistic and energetic. She's very athletic with a love for swimming and cheerleading. She's also quite good at running. While she might be a little naive, clumsy and clueless at times, she does her best to help people. She has an immense fear of ghosts due to her being able to sense them (although not being able to see them like her brother). She's always running late to school because she can't quite get up in the morning most of the time. Her invincible spell "Everything will be alright!" has got her through some tough times too. She's trustworthy and a loyal, and caring friend. She might get a bit violent around her older brother (attempting to stomp on his foot, and fantasies of growing as tall as a pole... and promptly stepping on said brother), but she loves him.
